Safety & community
Anonymous chat should still feel respectful. Project Cypher includes tools to report problems and cut contact when someone crosses a line.
Minimum age
You must be at least 18 years old to use Project Cypher. Age confirmation is required before you create an identity or use a guest pass. We do not knowingly allow underage use.
What we do not allow
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, or targeted abuse
- Sexual content involving minors — zero tolerance, immediate action
- Scams, phishing, impersonation, or attempts to steal accounts
- Doxxing or sharing someone else’s private information without consent
- Spam and disruptive automation that harms rooms or users
Full legal terms, licence grants, and liability limits appear in the in-app Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when you sign up or open the legal screens from your profile.
Tools you can use
- Report — flag messages or users for review
- Block — stop someone from contacting you
- Leave a room — step out of a chamber that is not for you
- Private chat encryption cues — verify safety details in supported DMs
Practical tips
- Keep personal details (address, workplace, financial info) off public chambers
- Be cautious with links and files from people you just met
- If a conversation feels wrong, block and report — you do not owe anyone access
- Voice and video reveal more than text; only join when you are comfortable
